聆聽(tīng)童心故事 領(lǐng)略英語(yǔ)風(fēng)采

為了彰顯我校英語(yǔ)辦學(xué)特色,激發(fā)學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)英語(yǔ)的興趣,使學(xué)習(xí)過(guò)程輕松且愉快,近日,合肥中銳學(xué)校小學(xué)部精品班舉辦了一場(chǎng)英語(yǔ)素養(yǎng)大比拼活動(dòng)。
In order to showcase the characteristics of our school's English education,to make the learning process enjoyable and rewarding, Hefei Zhongrui School Elite Primary School Division held yet another successful English competition. 歷時(shí)三周的比賽活動(dòng)內(nèi)容豐富多彩,活動(dòng)包括拼寫、語(yǔ)法和讀故事等比賽項(xiàng)目,為學(xué)生搭建平臺(tái)來(lái)提高語(yǔ)言能力,增強(qiáng)他們的自信心,培養(yǎng)與同齡人公平競(jìng)爭(zhēng)的意識(shí)。
The categories contested at were Spelling Bee, Grammar Race and Story Reading. The competition lasted for three weeks. Students from all grade levels participated in these contests with the purpose of providing students a fun and exciting opportunity to improve their language abilities, boosting their confidence and instilling a spirit of fair competition.
第一周
第一周,在一年級(jí)到六年級(jí)的學(xué)生中挑選優(yōu)秀學(xué)生在本年級(jí)中爭(zhēng)奪第一。拼寫比賽考驗(yàn)學(xué)生的詞匯記憶力和拼讀能力。選手要求拼讀一連串詞匯,且晉級(jí)越高,難度越高。
Selected students from Grades 1 to 6 battled for the top spot in their respective grades. Spelling bee challenged students' vocabulary and spelling skills, with competitors required to spell a selection of words with increasing difficulty as the contest progressed.
第二周
語(yǔ)法比賽中,所有語(yǔ)法題目均來(lái)自課本,難度系數(shù)分“容易”、“中等”和“難”。這場(chǎng)比賽刺激且具有挑戰(zhàn)性,整場(chǎng)比賽無(wú)時(shí)間限制,誰(shuí)回答迅速且正確,誰(shuí)就能得到分?jǐn)?shù)。
Students also competed in Grammar Race. Questions were derived from their textbooks categorized as easy, average, and difficult. It was a challenging and exciting competition as there was no timer
set for each question, whoever answers quickly and correctly gets the points.
第三周
第三周開(kāi)展閱讀故事比賽。所有參賽選手需要自選故事材料,用新穎獨(dú)特的形式閱讀故事,再運(yùn)用語(yǔ)言、音調(diào)和肢體動(dòng)作向觀眾闡釋故事內(nèi)容。
The third week was allotted for storytelling. Participants of the contest were tasked to choose a story, read it in their own creative ways using their abilities to use language, vocalization, and physical movement and gesture to interpret the images of the story to the audience.
事實(shí)上,這些比賽的意義超越了輸贏本身。比賽對(duì)學(xué)生獲得語(yǔ)言學(xué)習(xí)策略起到了促進(jìn)作用,旨在為學(xué)生提供機(jī)會(huì)來(lái)發(fā)掘自我、實(shí)現(xiàn)自我,使學(xué)生們不僅能夠獲得知識(shí),而且能夠成為積極和充滿自信的學(xué)習(xí)者。
In essence, these contests extend beyond just winning; they are a crucial part of language learning strategy designed to provide students with opportunities to realize and unearth their most capable selves, enable them to not just acquire knowledge but also to become confident and active learners.
所有參賽選手在比賽過(guò)程中都度過(guò)了一段開(kāi)心又難忘的時(shí)光。為學(xué)生們孜孜不倦的努力、積極參與和不斷超越點(diǎn)贊!
Overall, competitors from all grades had a fantastic time during the competition. Hats off to our students for their hard work, active participation and for giving their best foot forward to excel in each competition!

學(xué)生感想 Students’ thoughts
汪可凡:比賽過(guò)程中我很緊張。但當(dāng)我知道獲獎(jiǎng)后,我很自豪。這種比賽體驗(yàn)真的太棒了,我還想再參加!
Dylan: I was very nervous during the competition. But when I knew that I was one of the winners, I felt proud of myself. It was an amazing experience and I want to join again!
王韻焯:此次比賽我準(zhǔn)備得很充分。比賽前,我復(fù)習(xí)了很多英語(yǔ)知識(shí)。比賽很有趣,所有問(wèn)題都很有挑戰(zhàn)性,每位參賽者都想爭(zhēng)奪第一。
Wendy: I prepared very well for this competition. I reviewed a lot of English knowledge prior to the competition. It was very exciting mainly because the questions were a bit challenging and everyone wanted to win the race.
周弘錦:這對(duì)我來(lái)說(shuō)是一次苦樂(lè)參半的經(jīng)歷。這是我在小學(xué)階段最后一次參加英語(yǔ)比賽了,六月份我將要小學(xué)畢業(yè)。在這次比賽中,我不僅積累了經(jīng)驗(yàn),還收獲了滿滿的幸福。
Peter: It’s a bittersweet experience for me. This is my last time to take part in the English competition as I’ll be graduating from primary school this June. I must say, in this competition, I accumulated experience, but also harvested happiness.
孫憶:我真的很喜歡這場(chǎng)英語(yǔ)活動(dòng)。為了在比賽中表現(xiàn)出色,我盡最大努力閱讀英語(yǔ)故事。我已經(jīng)迫不及待地期待明年的英語(yǔ)比賽活動(dòng)!
Elsa: I really enjoyed this English activity. In order to do well in the competition, I made a lot of effort to read the English story to the best of my ability. I can’t wait for next year and join the competition again!

The categories contested at were Spelling Bee, Grammar Race and Story Reading. The competition lasted for three weeks. Overall, competitors from all grades had a fantastic time during the competition. Hats off to our students for their hard work, active participation and for giving their best foot forward to excel in each competition!
